Cairo Governor Major-General Khaled Abdel Aal and Head of Cairo Security Directorate Major-General Ashraf El-Gendy inspected on Saturday the site of the collapsed building at 50 Qasr El-Nil Street, where rescue operations are underway.
The rescue teams have rescued 14 people, provided medical assistance to two people on site, and transferred two others to Ahmed Maher hospital.
The collapsed building is on an area of 1500 m2 and consists of a ground floor and four stories.
