Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal followed up on Tuesday the demolition of three illegal floors in a building at 3 Petrol Street in Sharabia district through a display screen on the street broadcasting the ongoing demolition work.
The governor confirmed that the demolition process of the illegal building would be displayed on a street screen as a first-time experiment for citizens to see that the state is serious in dealing with building violations. He added that the owner of the building was referred to the Military prosecution.
The executive bodies of Cairo governorate demolished the building using two drills lifted by a crane to the top of the building to remove the last three floors for violating the construction ban issued by President Sisi.
Mr. Abdel Aal pointed out that there would be no tolerance towards illegal constructions with no exceptions to enforce the state’s law and authority.
