Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal inspected Monday the Abbasia Fever Hospital to follow up on the hospital's preparations to receive patients and Covid_19 cases and ensure the availability of medical supplies, medicines, and personal protective equipment.
During his tour, Abdel Aal inspected the ongoing renovation work at the hospital, which is carried out in cooperation with civil society to upgrade the emergency and reception building and the intensive care unit.
Moreover, Abdel Aal visited the new radiology complex, which has x-ray and CT machines and is prepared to receive a new MRI machine, in addition to ultrasound and Doppler machines.
The ongoing development work includes establishing pharmacies and vaccination centers complex, upgrading the hospital's endoscopy units and meeting hall. It also includes raising the efficiency of the hospital's surrounding area.
At the end of his tour, the governor directed to speed up the ongoing construction to upgrade the hospital.
The governor was accompanied by the Deputy Cairo Governor, the Director of Health Directorate, the Deputy Director of Health Directorate, and the Manager of Abbasia Fever Hospital.
