Several parts in Cairo witnessed yesterday light rainfall in Masr Al-Gadidah and Madinet Nasr districts.
Meanwhile, Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal made an inspection tour of several districts and streets. Abdel Aal also directed executive bodies of the Cairo governorate to remove water from streets to ease the flow of traffic and citizens in Cairo's main streets and tunnels.
The governor added that all central operations rooms in the Cairo governorate were linked to ensure a quick response to any reports or complaints about rainwater flooding in streets.
