Cairo Governor Khaled Adel Aal, accompanied by Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Cairo Security Directorate Major General Ashraf El-Gendy, inspected Monday the scene of the fire that erupted on Omar El-Khayyam Nile cruise boat on Mohamed Abdel Wahab Street in Zamalek district.
Abdel Aal decided to form a committee to investigate the causes of the fire as well as a technical committee headed by the Chief of Gharb Al-Qahira district and representatives of civil protection, water resources, water police, and industrial security to inspect the civil protection requirements on the boat.
Moreover, Abdel Aal asserted that the Civil Protection was immediately sent to the scene of the fire to help extinguish the fire and no causalities so far.
