Cairo Governate launches "Beautify Your City" initiatives

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal launched Saturday the "Beautify Your City" initiative, organized by Cairo governorate in coordination with the Ministry of Youth and Sports from 19 March to 5 April with the participation of 1000 young men and women from youth centers and scouts.

 

The initiative aims to beautify and clean streets and squares near Cairo's youth centers and includes painting sidewalks, cleaning streets, removing garbage and graffiti from walls, and hanging banners highlighting Egypt's most important national projects.

 
Abdel Aal also assured that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi puts the process of qualifying and empowering young people at the state's top priorities as they are the nucleus of the future, pointing out that this initiative is part of activating the role of youth and invest their creativity in serving the society in cooperation with the executive bodies to improve the services provided to citizens.
 

Moreover, the governor hailed the role of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in activating the state's initiatives, and he also praised the work of the participated young boys and girls and their desire to do positive and constructive actions for their country given they are the leaders of the future.

 
The governor also ordered Cairo's districts' chiefs to follow up the campaign and solve any problems facing the organizers and the participators.  
 
Furthermore, the Director of Cairo's Youth and Sports Directorate Sayed Hazeen said that the directorate provided all the needed tools and equipment as a contribution to the campaign, adding that all of Cairo's 76 youth centers are participating.
