Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal inspected Wednesday the ongoing demolition of the Ezbet Al-Matar area in the Hikestep in El-Nozha district.
During his tour, Abdel Aal pointed out that 17 buildings were demolished out of a total of 102 buildings as part of the state's plan to develop the area, adding that the owners of the buildings received compensation.
The governor was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Eng. Ibrahim Saber, Chief of El-Nozha district Khaled Akal, and a number of Cairo governorate's executive leadership.
