Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal asserted that the governorate is currently upgrading several public parks across Cairo to provide citizens with open green spaces and make the capital more beautiful and attractive.
This came during the governor's tour of Sharq Madinet Nasr and Gharb Madinet Nasr districts, during which he inspected the International Park and10th of Ramadan Park affiliated to Cairo's specialized parks as well as 10 B Park at the intersection of Mustafa Al-Nahas Street.
Abdel Aal also pointed out that the governorate spares no effort to increase open green spaces and landscaping as well as developing the city's parks as it contributes to the improvement of the environment in the capital.
Moreover, the governor said that redesigning Cairo's public parks and provide them with all necessary services would allow visitors to spend the whole day at the parks.
He added that the ongoing development work of the Child park located in Madinet Nasr district, which has suffered from neglect for years, includes installing a new irrigation system, replacing curbstones, redeveloping the park's internal walkway, and paving the roads.
