Minister of Local Development Mahmoud Shaarawi, Minister of Environment Yasmin Fouad, and Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal inspected Tuesday the ongoing preparations for launching the new solid waste management system in Cairo as part of the signed contracts between Cairo governorate, Cairo Cleaning and Beautification Authority, Erteqaa for integrated services and waste recycling Company, and Enviro Master for Environmental services and waste recycling Company. The two waste management and recycling companies would be handling garbage collection and disposal, waste recycling, street sweeping , and safe disposal of waste in Cairo's west and east areas.
