Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal inspected the ongoing demolition of unsafe buildings in the Gabakhana archaeological site, Misr Al-Qadima neighborhood, located on the top of the cliff surrounding the area.
During his tour, the governor said that the demolition comes in line with the ongoing restoration of the Gabakhana archaeological site as part of the state’s effort to upgrade the Misr Al-Qadima neighborhood.
Moreover, the governor inspected the ongoing development work at the Corniche El-Nil area in South Cairo and directed to speed up the pavement work and waste removal.
The governor was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Eng. Jihan Abdel Moneim, Chairman of Cairo’s Cleaning and Beautifying Authority Ihab El-Shershaby, several executives of Cairo governorate, and chiefs of concerned districts.
