Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal distributed Monday a batch of 60 thousand gifts of the “President Gift” initiative to Cairo’s neediest citizens as part of the presidential initiative of Decent life, aiming to alleviate burdens on citizens and confront price hikes.
Abdel Aal asserted that the Decent Life initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi targeting Egypt’s neediest groups contributed significantly to improving the quality of life nationwide.
Moreover, Abdel Aal confirmed that the Egyptian state, under the leadership of President Sisi, always seeks to ease the living conditions of needy citizens, especially in light of the rise in food and commodity prices.
Abdel Aal added that there is a coordination between Cairo’s solidarity Directorate coordinating with civil society organizations to distribute food boxes to the neediest families and residents of new housing projects built as an alternative to unsafe informal settlements.
