Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal and the Executive Director of Informal Settlement Development Fund inspected Monday the executive status of the El-Tibi project (Rawdet Al-Sayeda 2) in the Al-Sayeda Zeinab neighborhood.
Abdel Aal asserted that the Rawdet Al-Sayeda 2 project is one of the mega projects the state is implementing as alternative housing for slums and unplanned areas. The project covers an area of 7.89 acres and costs 549 million Egyptian pounds. It is expected to complete the project early next year, and it has 572 residential units, six administrative units, a services building, a nursery, and a stadium.
During his tour, Abdel Aal also inspected the Rawdet Al-Sayeda 1 project to follow up on the security and maintenance work and ensure the availability of necessary services for the residents.
Abdel Aal was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Jihan Abdel Moneim, Assistant Secretary-General Ibrahim Awad, and several officials of the Cairo governorate.
