Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal visited Ain El-Serra Gas Cylinder Warehouse as part of the governor’s sudden inspection tours to follow up on the availability of strategic commodities at affordable prices.
During his tour, the governor checked the availability of sufficient gas cylinders at the warehouse at fixed official prices for citizens.
Moreover, the governor made another inspection tour of consumer complexes, bakeries, and markets in several districts of southern Cairo, in which he stressed the necessity of displaying clear legible price tags on commodities.
The governor also asserted that executive bodies of Cairo governorate intensify campaigns to follow up on the availability of food and strategic commodities at affordable prices following directives of political leadership to prevent monopoly and unjustified price hikes of commodities.
The governor was accompanied by the Director of the Supply Directorate, Abdel Naeem Hamed, and several officials of Cairo governorate.
