Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal inspected Monday the start of the development work of the park located in the middle of the Roxy Square in Heliopolis, which is part of the Cairo governorate’s efforts to increase green spaces and regain the aesthetic and civilized features of Cairo’s public squares.
During his tour, Abdel Aal asserted that the cleanliness and beautification file is a top priority for the Cairo governorate, given its environmental as well as direct impact on citizens’ health.
Moreover, Abdel Aal emphasized that all executive bodies of Cairo governorate are working to improve the quality of citizens’ lives, and he praised the efforts of Cairo’s cleanliness and Beautification Authority to restore the aesthetic appearance of streets and squares in Cairo and use all modern technological methods to upgrade and improve the efficiency of its cleanliness system.
The development work will include upgrading infrastructure and constructions along the park and increasing green spaces inside the park.
The governor was accompanied by the Head of Cairo’s Cleanliness and Beautification Authority, Ehab El-Shershaby, and several officials of the Cairo governorate and the cleanliness authority.
