Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal made Monday an inspection tour of districts of southern Cairo, including Maadi, Mokattam, Basatin, and Misr Al-Qadima, to follow up on the ongoing development work.
Abdel Aal also inspected several road axes built by the state to connect east and south of Cairo within the framework of establishing new road axes to ease traffic movement in the capital.
During his tour, Abdel Aal said that ongoing development work is part of the state’s effort to link road axes in eastern and southern Cairo to help reduce traffic congestion and ease citizens’ movement in these areas.
Moreover, Abdel Aal followed up on the development work of squares and roads as well as increasing green spaces to add aesthetic features to the area.
Abdel Aal was accompanied by Deputy Cairo Governor Jihan Abdel Moneim and several officials of the Cairo governorate.
