Minister of Manpower Dr. Mohammad Saafan, Minister of Local Development Major-General Mahmoud Shaarawy, Ministry of Trade &Industry Dr. Neveen Gamae, Cairo Governor Major- General Khaled Abdel Aal took part in the launch of 5 mobile training units in some of Egypt’s cities and villages as part of “Your career, your future” initiative conducted by Egypt’s Ministry of Manpower. The initiative aims at training the youth on sewing, electrical installation, and plumbing.
Cairo governor pointed out that the initiative is part of “Decent life” initiative launched by President el-Sisi to support Egypt’s neediest families and to provide the youth in Egypt’s villages with jobs and qualify them to start small projects.
The governor also asserted that Cairo would benefit from this initiative to implement it in the city’s different neighborhoods, in line with the presidential directives to develop the society by creating more training opportunities and helping youth to set up small enterprises.
Moreover, Minister of Manpower Mohammad Saafan said that the mobile units have the latest training devices and aids in the fields of sewing, plumbing, and electricity and that the training would last for three months. He added that the top three of the trainees would be awarded by an equipment bag adding that the ministry has trained 243 of the youth on small and medium practices.
