Health: no Ebola virus infections, probability of transmission of disease is very low

The Ministry of Health and population has confirmed that no cases of Ebola virus disease have been registered in Egypt and that the health situation is completely stable, as Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Health and population, explained that the ministry is closely following international reports on the registration of cases of Ebola virus infection in one of the regions of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in full coordination with the World Health Organization and national and international bodies concerned with public health.

On the other hand, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and population, and Dr. Abdul Halim Allam, bar captain and president of the Arab Lawyers Union, received to discuss mechanisms for more than 600 thousand lawyers and their families to benefit from the ministry's medical and therapeutic services, whether through the system of the General Authority for health insurance or the Comprehensive Health Insurance Authority.
