Cairo Governor distributes food supplies to irregular workers
Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal announced that Resala Charity Organization would start on Tuesday 14 April 2020, distributing 2500 boxes of food to the families of irregular workers who were most affected by the novel coronavirus as well as the needy in Asmarat area.
The governor also praised the civil society organizations and NGOs for cooperating with the executive bodies in providing decent life to the citizens, assuring that the governorate sponsors all the initiatives aiming to help needy and poor citizens.
The governor added that the first batch of food boxes would be distributed today in several areas in Cairo like Ahalina, El-Mahrousa, and Rawdet El-Sayeda to provide the residents with staple food supplies before the holy month of Ramadan.
