Cairo governor Major-General Khaled Abdel Aal inspected on Tuesday 31 March 2020 several streets to follow up on the implementation of the two-week curfew announced by Prime Minister as part of the precautionary measures taken by the state to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID 19).
The governor also praised the efforts of the Cairo Security Directorate to enforce the curfew, adding that there is coordination between all the security and executive authorities to implement the protective measures. He also hailed the citizens and shop owners' commitment to these measures and their awareness of the importance of supporting their country in this difficult time.
The governor was accompanied by Deputies governor to North and East areas and several governorate's officials.
