Cairo Governor forms committees to follow up medical treatment

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal announced on Thursday, 4 June 2020 the formation of inspection committees headed by deputies Cairo Governor and a number of relevant authorities' specialists to inspect isolation hospitals treating coronavirus cases in Cairo.

 

The committees are to follow up on the medical treatment provided to citizens and to ensure the availability of medical supplies and personal protective equipment for medical staff. He pointed out that the committees are inspecting all hospitals affiliated to Cairo's Directorate of Health Affairs as well as isolation hospitals daily.  

 

He also stressed that hospitals must be ready to receive all coronavirus cases 24 hours a day as well as following up with coronavirus patients who are self-isolated at home and to deliver drugs that are part of Egypt's Health Ministry's medical protocol.

 

The governor also praised the great role of Egypt's medical personnel in fighting the novel coronavirus, hoping they would continue their fight with the same spirit of persistence, noting that what they are doing is a national duty in the first place.
