Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal inaugurated on Thursday 16 April 2020 pedestrian bridge built by Cairo Governorate in front of the National Cancer Institution on El-Qasr El-Aini Street at a cost of 15 million Egyptian pounds.
The governor pointed out that the bridge is to ensure the safety of the institution's patients as well as citizens and to avoid traffic obstruction.
Furthermore, the governor added that it was taken into consideration the harmony of the bridge's design with the architectural style of the area, especially the Magra El-Oyoun Fence.
The pedestrian bridge was built by the Arab Contractors Company under the supervision of Cairo's Road and Transport Directorate.
