Resources Mohamed Abdel Aaty and Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation
Al Sayyed Al Qusair discussed on Tuesday applying the modern irrigation system
in Egypt.
The two ministers also discussed the priorities for implementing a mechanism
for land reclamation under the new system.
The two sides also set the task of each ministry according to a detailed map
for the lands that will be irrigated under the new system.
The agriculture ministry will outline a design for modern irrigation networks
while the water resources ministry will rehabilitate lakes and set a schedule
for irrigation.
